Bed In a Bag
The concept of "bed in a Bag" came about 5 to 7 years ago and they are widely popular. You will find them at Kmart, Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and all other major soures. Everything you need (except the pillow inserts) are all in a bag, and they are usually priced much less than buying items seperately.
A Bed-In-A-Bag includes a perfectly matched set of a comforter, bed sheets (fitted and flat), pillow cases, pillow shams and the bed skirt- again, everything you need to pop up a wonderful bed.
The price ranges from $30 (yes, $30) to $300(300 set is very rare, though). You will often find them at "regular price" of $300 but always on sale for half of that price.
Ofcourse you can expect the $30 set will fall apart after a few washes due to poor fabric and craftmanship quality. they are usually made of 100% low quality systhetic fabric with attractive design and vibrant colors. And certainly they are mass-produced in Idia, China or Vietnam by 50-cent / hour labor. Usually after the 3th wash, the comforter will encounter: seams usually come undone, the stuff will spill out or the fabric will pile up.
When you spend $300 on a bed-in-a-bag- a "real" $300, not sale price of $150, ofcourse you wil get a much higher quality product. The fabric will stay soft after many washes, the color will also remain frsh and vibrant and the seams will not fall apart, etc.
However, the high quality and fancy beddings (matlasse, Chenille, silk) will never come in a bag. You will have to buy them as comforter, sheet set and skirt as three seperate items.
